Jigsaw Workshops
Jigsaw runs a number of workshop/information events across each academic year – Jigsaw Parent Education Workshops and Open Mornings for Professionals as well as Presentations to national and international conferences/audiences.
Jigsaw Parent Education Workshops
Part of Jigsaw’s parent outreach programme sees us deliver a range of parent education workshops throughout the year on various key topics, specific to pupils in different Key Stages. These are delivered in person and/or virtually by one of our senior staff under the oversight of our Director of Education, Dr. Emma Hawkins and provide an ideal forum to share knowledge, expertise and helpful insights on a range of subjects. Sessions take place at the School with a 9.45-10am arrival time/start and will finish by 11.30am.
Any of our parents interested in attending are asked to contact our reception team directly to book a space/receive a link to the session. Workshop dates are sent out via our regular Parent Newsletter and also posted on the main Calendar page on the School website – you can click Jigsaw School Calendar to visit the page directly.
Open Mornings for Professionals
Throughout the year, we offer interested parties working in the field of autism/SEN education the opportunity to visit Jigsaw to hear a short presentation on the work that we do along with Q&A session and have a tour of our facilities.
Jigsaw Presentations
Jigsaw also delivers presentations at conferences and other forum on a variety of subjects including research conducted across Jigsaw. These presentations are usually delivered by our Director of Education or other senior members of staff. Further information on these external presentations can be found by visiting the Jigsaw Presentations page under the main Research tab on this site.
Here is a selection of our latest workshop/open morning flyers for interest. If you would like more information on any of these subjects or to book your place, please contact us via [email protected].
