Team Jigsaw Tackles a Double Challenge

Three of our Supervisory Team, Edi Middleton, Kate Hewett and Natalie Leow-Dyke, have taken on an amazing fundraising challenge of completing the London to Brighton Cycle Ride and then 7 days later, doing a half marathon walk in The Surrey Hills Challenge – raising funds towards the installation of a Wet Room here at Jigsaw School.

So…how did they do?  They successfully cycled the 54.7 miles from London to Brighton in 6 hours and 9 minutes on Sunday 16 Sept…a week later saw them don waterproofs and tackle the half marathon in the the most torrential downpour and conquer the Surrey Hills Challenge completing their 13+ mile walk! Helping them on their way was one of our adult learners who kept smiling throughout, despite the weather, and was exactly the incentive they needed to keep going!  Truly a double challenge – two events that could not have been more different but all raising money for the same cause…the installation of a Wet Room at Jigsaw School to help teach essential life skills to our pupils in situ.  Please continue to show your support – they are still raising funds…visit:
