Well done to all our pupils who have helped create this year’s Guildford in Bloom display. Judging took place on a, thankfully, sunny day last week with results being announced in due course.
Based on the theme: ‘Colours of Summer’, pupils created the spectacular display through an array of different planting with each class making a different colour placeholder to denote their section of the display. The centrepiece was a beautiful technicolour coat – based on ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat’, pupils created “Jigsaw’s Technicolour Coat”. Following judging, the coat has come inside to keep dry from the rain and takes pride of place in the school reception area. A huge well done to everyone who took part and, of course, enormous thanks to our Horticulture Manager, Sally, for being the creative inspiration behind this project and engaging so many pupils in Guildford in Bloom 2019!
