Some Jigsaw pupils have had an exciting, unusual – and challenging – outing: a visit to the Boeing 747 jumbo jet parked on Dunsfold Business Park.
A team of thrill-seekers will be taking part in an exciting once-in-a-lifetime skydive challenge on Saturday 21 May. The team includes three of our staff members: Jasmine Popova, Millie House and Becki Taylor and they are all raising money for Jigsaw.
Jigsaw will soon be home to a brightly patterned cow as the school takes part in CowParade – the world’s biggest public art event.The fibreglass cow – generously sponsored for us by Dunsfold Park business park – will be decorated by flamboyant professional illustrator Vikki Gibson, with help from Jigsaw pupils.It will go on show
A walk through the glorious Surrey countryside taking in stunning hill-top views – and raising money for Jigsaw – is being set up for July 23rd. The Surrey Three Peaks challenge takes in Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill and Box Hill, with options of 26, 13 or seven miles.
Disabled Living (one of the North West’s oldest disability charities and organisers of the Kidz to Adultz events) is back at Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading, RH1 8EQ.

A comedy night for Jigsaw is being set up by Surrey University students on May 5th, when three experienced stand-up comedians will improvise live comedy from audience ideas.
Jigsaw staff have visited Kelly’s Storage in Guildford with a thank-you card made by school pupils after the company organised a 10k run in aid of three local charities.
They did it! Brilliant Jigsaw teachers Hayley Wadham and Liz Ruff have completed the 26-mile Brighton Marathon and raised more than £2,000 – and an amazing anonymous donor is doubling everything they’ve raised.
