Governors and staff celebrate a great year

Jigsaw staff celebrated a year of great achievements when they were joined at their staff meeting by the School’s Governors. The school year started with our third consecutive ‘outstanding’ report from Ofsted, and continued with many staff accomplishments and qualifications.

Governors congratulated staff for a host of achievements, including five Master’s degrees, 10 new CABAS ranks, four new BCBA (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst) certifications and three Registered Behaviour Technicians. Meanwhile many staff gained awards and accreditations for their Continuing Professional Development.

All these achievements recognise the personal commitment of staff that underpins the consistently high standard of teaching and curriculum delivery in class every day. This was noted in the Ofsted report, which marked Jigsaw as ‘outstanding’ in every category.

And we also send grateful thanks to our volunteer Governors, who give up their time for the good of the school: Jo Russell (Chair), Lori Winch-Johnson (Vice-Chair), Mark Jewsbury (Parent Governor), Alison Matthews (Parent Governor), Roxy Agyekumhene (staff governor), Laura Craven, Jill Kiely and Leo McHugh.
